In a previous Blog feature I said that I was planning to use my Lensbaby to capture some wedding detail. The last few weddings have been rather tight on time preventing such experimentation, until that is the wedding I did yesterday .... so here are the results ........ although these images did work in colour, I just find that this type of selective focus seems to lean to more subtle monotones.
The advantage of the Lensbaby "Composer" is that it stays in the position you set it so that further fine tuning of manual focus is possible as well as another similar shot being taken without having to position the lens again. I think this gives an extra dimension to my detail images and hope to be able to expand on this in the future beyond place settings to areas such as bridal preparation, I will keep you posted.
