As promised the selected images from my last "clown" shoot ...
All are shot at around F8, 1/250 Sec. Hasselblad H1 body with P20+ Phase One digital back, Lenses used: 50mm for full body, 80mm for 2/3 and 150 mm for head shots. Lighting was my trusted Bowen's Quad 2002 power pack, with a three light set up, the main light was diffused with small soft box and two further lights were at 1/2 main light output, which were used for fill and kicker/hair lighting (fill bounce by large brolley and kicker had snoot and honeycomb both opposite side to main light) this was to get a 70's studio lighting look, which will be replicated throughout the series.

It is also important to stress that the success of such a project is very dependent on having a good Stylist & Make-Up Artist for which I used the same one for whole series. Each emotion will also have a different model and here I have also been fortunate to find the right models each time, by either using models I have worked with before or by careful selection and also interviewing them prior to the shoot.
Thank you for looking and hope this inspires you to plan some personal project work of your own.
