“Four Seasons”
Delamere forest is Cheshire’s largest area of woodland, and is a well utilised location for leisure activities all year around. The forest is a mixture of native broad leaf trees and commercially forested pines. The wetlands and lakes provide a wonderful variation to the forest’s landscape, reflecting the seasonal colours in their dark waters.
Depicted here are the seasonal changes to this interesting and varied landscape, where if you take a few steps off the beaten path you are in total solitude.
Photo Tips: The only real tip I can give you on landscape photography is visit the place you wish to capture many times, this set of four images was two years in the making. There is no short cuts to good pictures and light is the all important requirement, this will mean a few early mornings before sun rise to ensure you capture things like the lakes reflection.
