Following on from my last Blog article this portrait was created using the same macro ring light very close to the subject with a 50 mm macro lens wide open at F2.5 thereby creating a very shallow depth of field keeping the focus on to the eyes and also to some extent the lip,s which are a about the same distance from the lens.
The image has been enhanced in Photoshop with skin smoothing and strong vibrant colours through simulating how film would be cross processed. The orange background colour is from tungsten lighting the colour temperature was set for the macro ring light which is surprisingly not too far off 5500 Kelvin (studio flash/day light).
